When asked to describe Chad LaMarsh, people around Boston often use the words “Local Legend.” And since he has been getting crowds rocking across Northern New England with a musical career that spans over the past three decades, it is easy to see why. A Berklee graduate with a degree in Professional Music and Songwriting, he began singing and playing guitar at the age of 7. By the age of 10 he was already entertaining crowds in bars and restaurants throughout the suburbs of Chicago. To date, Chad has been seen playing coast to coast from California, Arizona and Kentucky to Miami, New York and all over New England. He has even been hired to take his talents internationally to the mountains of Austria.
Chad is a unique and deeply talented performer. His solo performances can hit you with a wave of nostalgia in one moment and the overwhelming urge to dance in the next. He has the innate ability to control the energy of a room. Chad knows exactly how to keep a crowd engaged, entertained and energized. His intense, percussive approach to playing the acoustic guitar will have you looking to the stage to see where the rest of the band is. Chad has opened up for/played with several national acts such as Rick Springfield, John Waite, Montgomery Gentry, Bob Dylan & Paul Simon, the Goo Goo Dolls, Godsmack, Gin Blossoms, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, and Recycled Percussion.
